Chapter 10: Veronica mesmerizes the Prince

In the room, Logan continued to cry. As he keeps crying, the fireplace grows bigger and came out. The smoke was formed and we see Veronica’s evil eyes. She disappeared ant the only thing left is the green light. Logan stopped crying and looked up, watched the light with a dazed look; he stood up and walked towards it.

On the other room, Daylenne snarled.

“I can’t picture why he had to marry an old prince." She said.

Taylor put her hand on Daylenne’s shoulder to calm her down.

“Daylenne, that is not for us to decide.” She said.

Meanwhile, Logan followed the light as it opened a secret passage from the fireplace. The light floated inside and Logan walked through it. Back with the fairies, Patrick paced around.

“We should tell King Jeffrey about the boy." Taylor said.

“Why won’t we?” Daylenne asked.

“Hear that.” Patrick said, listening.

Taylor and Daylenne heard too.

“Veronica!” Patrick said, alarmed.

“Phillip, Phillip!” they called.

Patrick opened the door as he and the others saw Logan walking to the passage.

“Why we left him alone?” Taylor asked.

“Phillip, Phillip!” The fairies called again.

The fairies run towards the passage, as it closes in front of them. Inside, Logan followed the light upstairs. Back in Logan’s room, the fairies tried to push it, but it is too strong.

“There.” Patrick said.

He cast his magic as the wall disappeared. They ran around, searched everywhere.

“Phillip, Phillip! Where are you? Phillip!” The fairies called.

Logan continues to go up the stairs not paying attention to the fairies. He kept following the light. The fairies run up the stairs finding Logan, before it’s too late. Logan still stares at the green light confused as the light lead him to the door.

“Phillip!” the fairies called.

The fairies are still looking for him.

Logan walked in the room as the light had formed a spinning wheel. Logan lifts his hand to touch the spinning wheel.

“Phillip! Do not touch anything!” the fairies yelled.

They ran up the stairs; at the same time Logan was about to touch the spindle, as he stopped.

“Touch the spindle. Touch it, I say!" Veronica’s voice echoed.

Logan touched it with his finger! The fairies came over, gasped as they saw Veronica. Patrick and Taylor stood behind Daylenne while growling at her.

"Oh!" exclaimed the fairies with shock on their faces.

Veronica glared at them.

“You fools, you thought that you could destroy me? The mistress of all evil in the world. Here’s your lovable prince.” She snapped.

Veronica pulled her cape to show the fairies a sleeping Logan, not moving. The fairies are shocked at the site while Veronica laughed evilly and disappeared. The fairies kneeled in front of Logan, crying.

“Phillip!” Taylor exclaimed.

“Oh Phillip, I will not forgive myself." Patrick cried.

“We are to blame” Taylor cried as well.

They fairies cry over the body of Logan. As we turn to the window, we see the last rays of the setting sun shine in deep red.

Back at the castle, Jeffrey and Pamela sit on their throne are looking forward see their son and the wedding. Kent came over to Jeffrey’s chair and he was going to tell Jeffrey about Kendall.

“Jeffrey, I have to tell you something important.” Kent said.

“Not right now, Kent.” Jeffrey said.

“It has to do with Kendall!” Kent said.

“Kendall, yes, of course, where is he?” Jeffrey asked.

“That is what I’m trying to tell you.” Kent replied.

“We need to send him immediately!" Jeffrey ordered.

“But ..." Kent replied.

“Shhh!" Jeffrey shushed.

They heard the trumpets play from outside the castle.

“The sun had set, get ready to welcome the prince!” Alfred announced.

The crowd cheered while fireworks are shooting in the sky, as they prepare to welcome the prince. We approach the tower.

That cruel witch! She completed her plan. The next chapter is where we will see Logan sleeping as the fairies continue to cry.
