Chapter 17: Princess Jelena awakes
Cody and the fairies entered the castle as he sees all the people sleeping. Cody with the fairies looks up the tower where Jelena is sleeping. At the tower, Cody follows the fairies that lead him to Jelena. They made it to the top, Cody saw Jelena sleeping on his bed, holding a beautiful red rose. Cody approached her by knelt next to her. Cody kissed Jelena on the lips and moved from her. Jelena opens her eyes and smiles at Cody that she fell in love with.
The fairies are happy to see the spell had broken. Eunice awed at the couple as she hugs Veronica and Daylenne is wiggling of joy.
Outside, everyone started to wake up now that the curse had broken. By the throne, Mohamed and Yolanda woke up with a yawn along with Brad yawning too.
“Oh, ah, sorry, Brad, the wine ... What were you going to tell me?” Mohamed asked.
“Oh, I did?” Brad now realized. “Ah, yes, well, after all, Mohamed, it is the 20th century.”
“Yeah, you had said it a moment ago." Mohamed said.
“Well, I’ll be honest with you, my son Cody told me that he was going to marry ..." Brad was about to finish.
The trumpets were heard by getting everyone’s attention. Mohamed smiles, knows what is happening. At the top, Daylenne waved over Veronica and Eunice by coming over, watching the couple. Cody and Jelena are walking down the stairs together.
“Jelena, she made it!” Mohamed exclaimed.
Yolanda stood up smiling.
Brad looked surprised.
“As well Cody.” He replied.
Cody bowed and Jelena curtsied in front of Mohamed, Yolanda and Brad. Jelena approaches them and hugs Yolanda along with Mohamed. Yolanda cries with a tear on her face and smiles by hugging her daughter, she is proud to see her daughter for 20 years. Veronica, Eunice and Daylenne were proud that their job is done, even though Courtney had cursed Jelena, Courtney will not ruin Jelena’s life.
Brad went up to Cody.
“So, what is this means, boy? I have no…” he asked.
Jelena walked up to Brad as she puts her hand on his shoulder and kissed his cheek. Brad smiled blushing still confused.
“But, but, ..." he said.
Yay, Jelena is awake. Next chapter is the dancing and fighting the color of the dress.
